NHS Projects
NHS Consulting Projects
Launched with the London North West Healthcare NHS Trust, these projects present students with the opportunity to understand the NHS and its workings better. Each student is paired up with a clinical transformation fellow from London North West NHS Trust and the duo work together on consulting-type projects, where they typically analyse the scope for cost-cutting initiatives across different cost divisions and departments.
Established in 2014, the London North West Healthcare NHS Trust is a university teaching hospital with 8000+ clinical and support staff. Catering to medical and community services to Brent, Ealing, Harrow, etc, it is one of the largest integrated care trusts in England with a strong focus on research, education and training, as demonstrated by 5000+ patients actively taking part in clinical trials.
2022 saw the launch of seven individual NHS Consulting Projects, with business students across the MBA and Early Career MiM programmes working alongside clinical transformation fellows from different departments in NWL NHS Trust on topics which improve patient experience, address supply/demand mismatches and generate cost efficiencies.
In late 2022 we worked with London North West Healthcare Trust at Imperial Trust to collaborate on 11 projects with clinical transformation fellows.
